Job Crisis at 18?

I was personally quite amused when I heard of Claire Fear; the 18 year old who went to the extreme of holding a sign at the edge of a road, to get employement offers. 
I know we're in a recession and all of the economic trouble etc. but maybe thats a little extreme...

The ex-health sciences student, has apparently applied for 80 posts since she left her college in June, but hasn't got anything more than part-time work because she is too inexperienced.

But if surely if nobody is willing to give her experience she's going to be going round in circles over and over again?

I have to give her credit though, after all this media she's got (coverage by The Sun, Metro, Daily Mail and others) she'll probably get quite a few offers! It's a pretty unorthodox method but hey, if it gets results it gets results...
